I had another super-busy day! After an early morning that began at dawn doing legal work, I met with Al Bane at 2:00 p.m. Al is the designer who is helping me re-create some of the stage gear I designed and wore in the 1980s. Al is pictured above. On the left he is holding a shirt I designed, and made by hand, for a band I was briefly in the late 70s or early 80's called The Screen Idols. In about '84, I pulled this out of my closet and began wearing it in Hellion. A picture of myself wearing this item is included on the cover of the Lady Killers album. He is re-designing this for Hellion's new tour, along with some other favorites. On the right, you can see some feathers that I personally selected, which are to be included in another garment that is being re-created.
Al Bane does nice work with leather. If you are in the Los Angeles area and need any custom leather work, Al is the guy to call.
Next stop was to see my friend at Kit Crafts where I purchased some Swaroyski Crystals to add to another costume that I am recreating for the upcoming North American tour. After Al Bane makes the garment, I will add the decorations.
My next stop was to see my "nail lady." Julie as a very sweet girl who helps make sure that my fingernails always remain black.
My next stop was at the House of Blues for the wrap party of a new movie called Lake Eerie. Brenda Starr (pictured above) leads the Hellion street team, is pictured above. Maxxxwell Carlisle also joined me at the event. Thanks to Allie Jorgan, who invited us, and whose band played at the Foundation Room.
My next stop was at The Rainbow for the best pizza in Hollywood!
While we were at The Rainbo, we saw three framed pictures advertising Hellion's first show in Hollywood in over a decade! I don't know who put them up, but I want to say thanks for your support!
Well, it's now past 2:00 a.m. and time for bed!
